My Story

I came to this work through a combination of formal clinical training and a deep curiosity about how we're all adapting to rapid technological change. I was drawn to working with young people because they're navigating something genuinely new: growing up in a world where social connection, identity formation, and daily life are mediated by devices and platforms that didn't exist a generation ago.

The anxiety I see in teens today isn't a failure of character or a sign that "kids these days" can't handle things. It's a reasonable response to real pressures. Social media wasn't designed with adolescent brain development in mind. Our job as therapists, parents, and educators is to help young people develop the skills to navigate these challenges, not to shame them for struggling.

I believe in meeting teens where they are, without judgment or alarm. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and exposure therapy, but what matters most to me is understanding each person's actual experience and figuring out what will help them specifically.
