I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to new clients so we can talk through what you're looking for and whether I'm the right therapist for you. If I'm not, I'll do my best to suggest someone who might be.
Direct, collaborative, and focused on action, not just insight. I ask hard questions. I notice patterns. I expect you to do work between sessions. If you want someone to just listen and validate, I'm probably not your person.
I'm out-of-network with all insurance companies, but I can provide superbills for you to submit for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. Many clients get 50-80% reimbursed, but it varies by plan.
It depends on what you're working on and how you engage with the process. Some clients work with me for a few months to address a specific issue. Others stay for a year or more. We'll talk regularly about progress and when it makes sense to wrap up.
No. As a licensed clinical social worker, I can't prescribe medication. But I work closely with psychiatrists and can provide referrals if medication might be helpful as part of your treatment.
I maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who genuinely can't afford my full fee. These fill quickly, but if cost is a significant barrier, mention it when you reach out.
