DBT Skills in Schools

Co-developed with educators and clinicians to bring Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills into middle and high school classrooms.

The Challenge

Schools saw increasing student mental health needs but lacked resources. Teachers wanted to help but weren't trained clinicians. Traditional therapy wasn't reaching enough students.

What We Built

A complete curriculum teaching four DBT skill modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Designed for non-clinicians to deliver with confidence.

Created in response to emerging technology and its impact on adolescent mental health and development.

The Need

AI tools appeared in classrooms overnight. Students were using ChatGPT, image generators, and recommendation algorithms without understanding implications. Educators needed resources fast.
